Replacing NM-HDV2 card by VWIC2-1MFT-T1/E1

Hi,

My customer is planning to replace an existing NM-HDV2-1T1/E1 card (connecting a TDM PRI trunk from PBX) by a VWIC2-1MFT-T1/E1 card.

I just want to know if a standalone VWIC card can support all the voice functionality of a NM-HDV-T1/E1 card including E1 PRI signalling.

There are enough DSPs onboard the Cisco 2821 router.

Hi NS,

Yes, the VWIC2 - 1MFT -T1/E1 card can fully support E1

PRI signalling We use 4 of these cards to support a similar

setup.
