Broadcast Hunt Group Problem!

Hi everyone,

I have a CUCM7 cluster and have just created one hunt group broadcast for team assistants.

The problem that i am facing is if one of the assistanst forward his phone to another number (forward all calls), the hunt pilot will broadcast for all members including his phone!

The forwarded number will ring also.

What could be the problem?

Best regards,

Nuno

Hi

This is working as designed.

Hunt Groups do not pay any attention to the forwarding settings of the individual lines that are part of the hunt group.

Only calls made directly to the forwarded extension will be forwarded.

If you want one phone to stop ringing, you can try one of these options:

1) Turn down the ringer on that phone

2) Assign the 'HLogOut' softkey to the users' Softkey set. When they press this, their phone will not take calls from the hunt group until they have pressed HLogOut again to log back in.

Regards

Aaron
