Upconverter is Enabled Output is Muted (CMTS Line card)

Good Day,

What could be the reason for a MC28U line card to enter a state of RF muting? After investing some time in troubleshooting both IP and HFC network, we had to reboot the cmts inorder to resolve the problem. It worked for some hours and again the line card throwed up the same problem.

Cable3/1 Upconverter is Enabled Output is Muted.

After we changed the line card with the same type, the problem is assumed to be resolved. In this spectrum, what could be the reason for such a behavior? Is it some hardware related problem?

Hello Sam,

it is likely an hardware problem if changing the linecard fixed the issue
