Hello my friends.  I am trying to install 1131a/b/g APs at one of our remote sites that has installed a Cisco 1841 (ver 124-25b) and a Cisco Catalyst WS-C3560-48TS (ver 12.2(25).SEB4).  I would like each of these APs to use a manual binding.

I configured the router as follows:

ip dhcp excluded-address 10.10.10.1 10.10.10.15

ip dhcp pool sample_subnet

       network 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.128

       default-router 10.10.10.1

       dns-server 10.15.2.12 10.15.2.13 4.2.2.1

       netbios-name-server 10.25.10.25 10.85.1.110

       domain-name acme.sample.edu

ip dhcp pool ap-1

       host 10.10.10.15 255.255.255.128

       client-identifier 0100.1ef7.edf6.7c

ip dhcp pool ap-2

       host 10.10.10.14 255.255.255.128

       client-identifier 0100.1ef7.edf8.6e

ip dhcp pool ap-3

       host 10.10.10.13 255.255.255.128

       client-identifier 0100.1ef7.edf8.80

I see the manual entry with an "infinite" lease time in the dhcp binding table.   However, when these APs come online they continue to receive

IP address from the general pool.   They are not assigned the IP addresses configured in the client pool configurations.   I tried this with the

hardware-address command and with/without the "01" preceding the mac-address.  I can't get it to work....The configuration seems st8 fwd.  I

don't know why it's not working.  I wonder if it's something specific to the Cisco APs?

Any thoughts?
