Displaying an external call by name

Is it possible to display an incoming external call by name, rather than number? Either by looking up something in CUCM or by looking up an external corporate directory such as AD?

Well, if you have your trunks provisioned to allow name presentation from the carrier then the answer is yes. There is a fee for this and the availability depends on your carrier, location, etc. The CUCM has nothing natively built-in that will do this for you. Some soft phone clients or desktop based software may.
