CUVA with Win7

Hi, i am testing the CUVA on Win7, but looks like it doesn't work with physical IP phone, the IP communicator is fine. Some old post said Cisco didn't support Win7 with their CDP protocol inline phone detection. Anyone know when Cisco will fix this? Or anyone has the workaround?

I've searched a number of Cisco threads and the conclusion is that right now, CUVA works with Win7 x32 and x64 however; on with Win x64 you can only  use it with CIPC.  It wont connect to the desk phone.  So as long as IPC  is runing it works fine.  This is an issue with Windows x64 and the recogntion of "unsigned drivers" which happen to be the CDP drivers for CUVA.


As for dates/workarounds - none other than to just IPC.  The official support standpoint is here (notice CUVA is still TBD):
