Hello,
is possible to monitor dhcp binding or free addresses using snmp? I found the following MIB: CISCO-IETF-DHCP-SERVER-MIB, but this MIB is supported only on the Cisco 7300, 7200 series.:-( When I tried snmpwalk on the Catalyst3560, but the CISCO-IETF-DHCP-SERVER-MIBoids is not supported:-( So the question is following: Is possible to monitor DHCP leases using SNMP on the low end Cisco platforms (800,1700, 1800, 26xx, 28xx..., Cat3560, Cat3560E, Cat3750, ...)? Thank you. Roman

You can do this with EEM and the EXPRESSION-MIB. Take a look at the script at
http://forums.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/EEM;jsessionid=BC017F546ECE38762F78BCF6270D6A77.SJ5A?page=eem&fn=script&scriptId=2283 . I just used this script today to do exactly what you want. I created objects to be able to poll my number of outstanding leases and my overall pool size.

Thank you very much. I will test it. Is it supported on the L3 switches (3560,
3750)??. Roman

Provided those switches are running 12.2(40)SE or higher, then yes.
