We have a need to send a broadcast voice message to a DL for only a handfull of users. I looked into broadcast messaging but you can not edit users as far as I can tell. I set up a test Public DL and added a few users into it but I seem to be missing a step or I am not really sure how it is supposed to work. I checked for documentation and find it on how to set up the DL but not much else.
Any help would be great!
Thanks!

HIWilliam,
DOH!! It would help if I could read

Hi William,
No worries, the first couple I've set up on Unity Connection lost me
as well
One thing we have done is to assign a "phantom" DN to System DL's
to make it easier to send to them. Sending by name is a tad tedious
to say the least. Use any unused number for this. here is an example;
So you have a new test_dl
assign 1333 for extension on Edit Distribution ListPage
set up/assign members
exit
Access your mailbox
enter PIN
Press x to send (depends on conversation you are using)
record new "Broadcast" message
press#
send to 1333 press# to send
MWI lamps will light on test_dl member phones
and new "Broadcast" message will be received.
Cheers!
Rob

This is standard unity not unity connection..does this make a difference?
Do I set the owner as myself to test?
