ASA and NAC

We have an ASA 5510 that terminates VPN Clients.

We authenticate clients using ACS.

How can we perform NAC with this structure? We want to check OS and Antivirus of clients, before they can access our networks.

Hi Daniele,

Are you going to have a NAC appliance or module?

NAC can be implemented with a NAS and NAM (appliances) or there used to be a NAC framework.

No, we don't have any NAC appliance.

Is needed? Or can I use something else?

Maybe Cisco Secure Desktop?

Cisco got its NAT solution based on its NAC appliances:

However, you can still implement many features with ASA and CSD.

What is that you're trying to accomplish?
