Hi,

I m having an issue with applying service-policy configuration under vlan 1 on 1700 series router, when i do that it throws an error "configuration failed"

The service policy is for marking the voice packets with EF. Initially i thought that it could be a bug, but bug toolkit didnt returned anything favourable

IOS details

C1700 Software (C1700-K9O3SY7-M), Version 12.4(15)T10,
c1700-k9o3sy7-mz.124-15.T10.bin

any help would be appreciated

If your router is 1701 with c1700-k9o3sy7-mz.124-15.T10.bin than it does not support service policy.

What i do is , i always use cisco feature navigator to check which model (ios) support which features.  its very useful.
