Local Administrator to run Cisco Agent Desktop?

I recall you have to be a Local Administrator on your computer to run Cisco Agent Desktop in a supported mode, but need to find a URL/Release Note that states that. Anyone recall where that info is found?

This is for UCCX 7.0(1)SR5.

Page 37 of the Cisco CAD Installation Guide:

By default, Windows Installer installations run in the context of the logged-on user.
CAD installations, which use Windows Installer, require either administrative or
elevated (system) privileges. If the CAD installation is run in the context of an
administrative account, no additional privileges are required.
If the CAD installation is run in the context of an account with reduced privileges, the
Windows policy “Always Install with Elevated Privileges” must be enabled to deploy
the installation with elevated privileges.

So only Installation requires Admin or Elevated Privileges, day-to-day use of Agent Desktop doesn't require user be Local Administrator or Elevated Privileges.

Sort of. Every time CAD launches the auto-update utility starts. If a patch has been applied to the CCX server the agent will be prompted to perform the patch to CAD. If they do not, CAD will close.
