VOIP outgoing call issue

Unanswered Question

Hi,

Could I know how to fix it the following issue ? Users said when they press the digit slowly then the calls are successful. When they press faster, they hear busy tone.

--------------------------------

Users are having problem to make leased line calls. The pattern is before they complete the key-press, they hear the busy tone.  To call a extension in HK, e.g. 484, I need to press 382484, where 3 is the access code to the tie-line, 82 to RSHK, and 484 is the extension. Now after I press 382, there is busy tone already. We keep trying for few more times, we can then get thru.

Thanks a lot

You need to check for overlap in your dial plan.  Then we can go from there.

Hi Hailey,

The dialplan is not overlapped with each other. Is this the problem about the timing of dial digit ?

There is no match for 382 above ? Also see if you can register a phone into thta site and try yourself, sometime users report are incorrect.

The prefix 3 is deleted before accessing the voice gateway so only 82xxx will be sent.

Thanks Leung Che Man
