What resources are there for managing either the 3550 or the 2950 line of switches from a GUI. I had a customer ask me this a week ago. He wanted to be able to see a pretty picture of the front of the switch with port lit green for those which had links...
Thanks
Kevin

Thanks for your answer. CNA is part of the solution. When it is listed in CNA, there is an option when you right click on the device to go to "Device Manager", which brings you to the following screen
When I try to select "Web Console" to get to the graphical representation of the switch via GUI, it get a HTTP 404 - Page cannot be found. I then looked at the Flash on the box and do not see anything for "homepage". the URL when you select the "Web Console" link was as follows:
http://192.168.10.2/homepage.htm
Any ideas where I can get this from?
Thanks
Kevin

Thanks for your response and trying to help out. The HTTP and HTTPS services are both configured and running on the boxes. I can do a 'sho ip http server" and it gives a pretty detailed view of those services and others.
The issue at hand is that there are some files missing in flash that host the homepage, etc. If you see my last post, you can tell that Web Services are runninng or we would not get to that point. Some of those models of switches came with a directory in flash called HTML. I need to reinstall that directory, I beleive, so that I can talk to those pages. I thinkwe had to delete them some time ago due to space issues.
Thanks
Kevin
