Hello,

We have many blade switch C3032 (Dell) in our infrastructure. The fast ethernet interface (management out of band) is configured with a static ip adresse. Today, 80percent of these switch lost the correct configuration to have this configuration commande : ip address dhcp

In syslog, we have only one log :

Jun 15 13:51:55.846 METDST: AUTOINSTALL: FastEthernet0 is assigned 172.16.255.246

But theses switch have'nt restart today M1000-JF4-C3032-1 uptime is 1 year, 41 weeks, 4 days, 1 hour, 0 minutes and the command "show running-config" see no configuration change :

M1000-JF4-C3032-1#  sh run
Building configuration...

Current configuration : 7957 bytes
!
! Last configuration change at 15:15:59 METDST Wed May 19 2010
! NVRAM config last updated at 15:16:03 METDST Wed May 19 2010

The clock time is correctly synchonised with NTP

M1000-JF4-C3032-1#sh clock
.16:15:25.267 METDST Tue Jun 15 2010

Any ideas of the configuration change ????

Why the switch do an autoconfig with fastehternet 0 ?

No one do any configuration on switch today (the switch hav'nt any log of a configuration mode)...

Thanks for help
