hi all,

I got a weird questions. on the 8961, 5 programmable buttons on the left, and 5 sessions keys on the right of the screen. I don't think I can program any of the sessions key, can I? if not, how to swap those two sets of keys, ie. move the 5 programmable keys to the right and 5 sessions keys to the left??

On Cisco product decription for it, it does say it can be configured on the left or right side of screen.

thanks

Hi Minghui,

This is accomplished by using a specific "locale" as shown below;

(The position of session buttons may be reversed with that of programmable feature buttons on phones using a locale with a right-to-left reading orientation, such as Hebrew and Arabic.)

Hi Minghui,

You are most welcome my friend

That is correct, you would have to change to a "locale" that uses

a "right- to - left" display.

Cheers!

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the info. this is all for English users. I guess there is no way to swap those buttons without changing language??
