LMS 3.2 Can't get devices by sysname in Device Discovery list

Hi,

I can't obtain a list by sysname for the discovered devices. I just get a list by IP addresses. What could be wrong?

The Global settings of "Device Discovery" are :

"Preferred DCR Display Name" : Hostname

Update DCR Display Name

"Preferred Management IP" : Resolve by Name

LMS 3.2

CSS 3.3.0

Are those IP addresses resolvable in DNS or the server's local hosts file?  Use the resolver.pl tool to confirm:

NMSROOT/bin/perl NMSROOT/bin/resolver.pl IP

The IPs must be resolvable to see them by hostname.

This is not yet possible.  I have an enhancement request open for this in CSCte52999.
