SAF Support on AIM2/NME -CUE

Unanswered Question

We are looking at upgrading to CUE 8.x and are wondering about SAF support on the AIM2 or NME cards. We don't want to buy the AIM2 and find out that it won't support SAF if/when this becomes available.

Anyone have suggestions about which card we should be buying with respect to SAF support?

I have this problem too.

I'm a little confused why you're looking for SAF support in Unity Express. The Service Advertisement Framework would be a Communications Manager or Communications Manager Express feature.

The Q&A on SAF states this:

Q. What services are supported today?
A. Unified Communications 8.0 will be the first supported SAF application. Support includes Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (CME), Cisco Unified Communications Manager, and Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST).

SAF is not supported on CUE today, but surely it might be, as the whole idea behind SAF is that it should be general.

It would be terrible to buy a bunch of AIM2-CUE cards, open up a pile of routers to insert them, deploy the product and then discover that in the next release SAF is used instead of VPIM but only on NME cards.
