Hi,
We have a Cisco WLC (version 4.2.61.0) which we use for our corporate and guest wireless.
For guests, after they associate and open a web browser they are directed to a login page asking them for their user credentials. Currently this login page is a customized page on the WLC it self and only uses HTTP.
Is it possible to have the WLC using HTTPS for this page?
Or do i need to redirect the login page to an external server?
thanks,

If you have HTTPS enabled on the controller the webauth login page should use SSL. Just go under Management - HTTP and make sure you have HTTPS enabled. If you don't have it enable the webauth page would not be encrypted.

Yes that worked! thanks!
Is it possible to install a valid certificate so the certificate error page is not displayed when someone uses the webauth?
How is this done if it is possible?

Hi
That no problem. Just follow the guide in one of these documents:
Chained certificate (think you need to upgrade your system to use chained certifcate) :

Unchained certificate:

Hope it helps.
Kind regards
Johan
