ACS 5.0.0.21 monitoring and reports database

Hello,

Just installed ACS 5.0.0.21.  Monitoring and reports database was working, but now is not.  When trying to open, I get "Monitoring and reports database currently unavailable.  Trying reconnect in 5 minutes."    From CLI "sho application status acs" gives me the following:

ACS role: PRIMARY

Process 'database'                  running
Process 'management'                running
Process 'runtime'                   running
Process 'adclient'                  running
Process 'view-database'             running
Process 'view-collector'            running
Process 'view-jobmanager'           running
Process 'view-alertmanager'         running

Also, logs show nothing unusual.

Reload of appliance does not help.

Any other way to check why this appears to be unavailable?

Thanks

Cancel that... after 3 system reloads, it finally came back - this is not very comforting since this is a new install and under almost no load at all.

We are experiencing this problem now.

If  problem persists, please contact your ACS administrator."

This is after a VM fail, any ideas on how to recover this? The 3 reloads didnt cure our problem

Hi

If the version is ACS 5.0 then You probably are hitting the followin bug:CSCsx43817. I would recomend you upgrading the box to the new version.

Here is the path from here you can downlooad the iso and upgrade the acs:

Login to cisco systems> support> all download>  products>  security> identity management> cisco secure access control  system> cisco secure access 5.x

You would see the link for 5.1 , 5.2 and 5.3

Click on any of the link and you will find the .iso image.
