2621 router - wrong config register change - big problem

i'm using this 2621 router in my lab.  I fat fingered the config register value i was changing to try and trouble shoot a flash problem.  i changed it to 2201, and reset the box.  now the output is all garbled and not readable.

Is there a way to fix this? i believe that config-reg value is not supported and that's why the output is all garbled.

thanks for any info - i'm sure it's not too common.

You have changed the console speed on the router.  Play with your terminal emulator (Tera Term , Putty etcc.)  starting at 2400 bps and increment by 2400 bps increments until you find the correct speed that the router is running at now .  If you want to know  what 2201 is then download a config register calculator  and it will tell what speed you changed it to with that value.  Try 2400, 4800,19200,38400 etcc.

YEA!!! 19200 was the speed! Thanks so much!
