Adding DDI Number Range to CCM 6.1

Currently we have H225 trunk to telco's gatekeeper. So the telco routes the calls down the IPtrunk and we do the reverse. there is existing DDI range and its working fine. However the numbers (DDIs) are now depleted and an additional range is due to be added.

So when the new DDI range is routed down the existing trunk, what changes would have to be made on CM, such that the new numbers can start to be issued?

thanks

Ajaz

You are connected directly to the telco's gatekeeper or do you have an onsite gateway that connects to the telco's gatekeeper? If you are connected directly to the telco's gatekeeper, they will have to provision the new dialplan for the new DID range to point to your CUCM. At this point you should be recieving what ever digits their sending you (4,5,7,10, etc) and translate them accordingly. Or build the CUCM dialplan (DN's, CTI route points, etc) to match the recieved digits.

Hope I understood your question correctly.
