Can I connect a blade server(10G) to N2K-C2248TP 10GE port?

We bought a N2K-C2248TP, with 48x100/1000-T and 4x10GE, can I connect a blade server (10GE port) to N2K-C2248TP 10G port? or the N2K-C2248TP 10G port only for uplink?

BTW, when I configure the N2K, I can only find the 100/100-T port, but can not find the 10G port as below:

The 10GB interfaces are uplink-only so can't be used for servers - from the manual:

Ethernet Interfaces

The Cisco Nexus 2148T has 48 1-Gigabit BaseT Ethernet host interfaces for its downlink connection to servers or hosts and four 10-Gigabit Ethernet fabric interfaces with SFP+ interface adapters for its uplink connection to the parent switch.

The new Nexus 2232 (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps9441/ps10110/data_sheet_c78-507093.html) supports 10GB host connections, but the 48 ports are 1GB.

On the Nexus switches, you don't get 'TenGigabitEthernet' interfaces in the CLI even if they are 10Gb (or other speeds in future) - they're all 'Ethernet'.

Finally, the '100' on the port names is not a reference to 100mb, but an ID for this particular 2000 - if you had multiple 2000s, they could appear as 100/x/x, 101/x/x etc.

I can only see total 48 downlink port from Eth100/1/1 to Ethe100/1/48, but I can not find the uplink port

Hi

Yep, as I say - they're uplink ports only; they can't be configured (you configure the 5k end of the connection, and connect up the links) so you don't get to 'see' them except for where they are referenced as being pinned to a host port in some command outputs...
