Hello,

How many SVI (Switched Virtual Interfaces) it's possible to configure on Supervisor 6-E and 6L-E with LAN Base software?
Please confirm me with a link to the appropriate site on cisco.com. Feature navigator do not show this information.

Why you need more than one SVI on a LAN Based image? SVI is L3 interface for inter-VLAN routing.

BTW, the follow link clearly said SUP 6L-E supports 2048 SVI's and SUP 6-E supports 4096 SVI's.

The answer is simply, because I only need features in LAN Base and inter-VLAN routing additionally.

I know that Sup 6L-E and 6-E supports 2048 and 4096 SVI but guestion is in what software version IP Base or Enterprise?

Please, look for a picture below. Why RIP is in LAN Base software version, maybe it's possible to configure more than one SVI.

Some explanation:

It's possible to configure on CAT 4500 with LAN Base software about 2000 SVI interface and inter-VLAN routing too.

It supports 4096 SVI's .  It shouldn't matter if its ipbase or enterprise . The main diference between the 2 is that enterprise supports all the dynamic routing protocols like eigrp, ospf, bgp ..  etcc  , where the ipbase does not . it only supports static, rip, eigrp stub...

On 6L-E supervisor it's support only 2048 SVI's for a example on bundle WS-C4507RES6L-96V+.
