My next issue on the UC540 is the dialing a number for an outside line. In our test setup we have 1x FXO PSTN line and a SIP trunk. The Sip trunk has 10x DIDs and 10 lines.
Now when we make calls we have to dial '0' in our case to get an outside line. The issue is when people call us we cannot call them back from our call history as it is missing the '0'.
What would be the best solution in this case. Remove the need for a 0 (as we would prefer) or manipulate the caller ID?
I have another issue which may or may not be related. With SNR sometimes the UC uses the SIP trunk and sometimes it used the SIP trunk. I would like to set all outgoing calls on the SIP trunk unless all lines are being used. Is there any way to do this?
