Hi All,
I am looking for a Cisco Router (preferably) for a design that i am writing up,
that is capable of carrying out Gigabit throughput and IPSEC encryption
at that rate.
Any Ideas/experience? This will be conecting to an MPLS VPN and we intend
using DMVPN with IPSEC for CE-CE encryption. It is for a financial house and the HQ
Circuit needs to be gigabit.
Thanks all
Stephen

Stephen,
I'm not sure about current datasheets, maybe best to ping a Cisco SE?
Possible solution cat6k + VPN SPA or ASR1k (not sure what datasheets are saying about the latter tho)
Marcin
edit: ASA will not handle DMVPN so I did not mention 5580.
Also found the link i had in mind
As far experience...
VPNSPA is very decent if you don't want to step one step away from the configuration guide.
ASR1k has nice potential but it's still new, great support team internally though.

Hi Marcin,
Your information was very helpful, and i took your advice, and contacted our local SE.
Seems that the ASR is the right fit. Maybe expensive, but it fits the requirement.
Really appreciate it. Will work with SE here in Scotland.
Regards
Stephen
