Does anyone know what is the command to show that a switch port has not been active for a period (like in Cisco IOS we have "show int link"), what is the command in CatOS?

Not really, the similar command to show interface x/x is show port x/x and show counter x/x.

Not that I know of and CatOS is EOL and not more new feature will be added. I thnk you might want to use a Network Management Station to track this.

There is no equivalent command in catos . Not even all IOS boxes support "show int link " , only have seen that command valid on the 4500's .
