More spam since update to v7.1.1

Hi all,

I've noticed that since we've updated our blocker to v7.1.1-102 I'm seeing more spam come through. I was used to seeing virtually no spam (say 5-10 a week at best) with version v7.0.1. Now with v7.1.1-102 I'm seeing upwards of 15-20 spam emails come through on a daily basis.

Comparing the v7.0.1 config vs the new v7.1.1 config shows no changes that imho should affect the way the blocker processes spam. Anyone else experiencing the same increase in spam as I am? Any Cisco representative able to shed some light on this situation?

The AsyncOS release used is independent from the Anti-Spam engines and rulesets. So when you encounter an increase of spam messages being passing through then it is based on the Anti-Spam rulesets being in place at that point in time and not based on teh AsyncOS release you have.
