Somewere in Cisco's NAC documentation I've read about the CAM Event Log's - CleanAccessServer entry CPU numbers.
It said that if the system entry shows 90%, or higher - it means it's a healty system.
My log shows the following:
|CleanAccessServer||2010-06-22 11:59:42||172.18.99.10 System Stats: Load factor 0 (max since reboot: 43) Mem (bytes) Total: 4095090688 Used: 341200896 Free: 3753889792 Shared: 0 Buffers: 52174848 Cached: 136843264 CPU(s) 1.3%user 0.0%nice 54.3%system 0.0%idle 0.0%iowait 0.3%irq 44.0%softirq 0.0%steal|
Why the softirq is so high? Is it normal?
The system is a NAC Appliance with CAM/CAS 4.7.2.
Thanks a lot,
