Hi all, we have a customer that is running CiscoWorks LMS 3.2 with Campus Manager 5.2.1 installed. He can run topology services from remotely connected clients but can not run topology services from the machine where LMS is installed.  The Topology Services windw comes up but hangs at "connecting to Campus Manager Server"

The Java console only gets as far as

Java Web Start 1.6.0_11
Using JRE version 1.6.0_11 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
User home directory = C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator

The only thing that i can think of that may have some bearing is that at some point the windows domain that the server belongs to has changed but it can be pinged with either the new or the old domain name appended to the server name ( pinging the IP address resolves to the new domain) The name of the server has not changed.

From a remote PC it doesnt matter what name you use it will still start topology services

We have re-installed CM 5.2.1 over the top of the installation, but as yet have not removed 5.2.1 then reinstalled.

We have removed all versions of Java and re-istalled 1.6.0.11 but still getting the same issue

Any ideas what we can try next??

Rgds
