Port is up but not pingable

Hi there,

I recently met a strange problem, that one gi port on my router is not pingable anymore.

1. The port is up, protocol is up.

2. The port on another router that conncet to the port is up, protocol is up and pingable.

3. Cannot ping the port even from the router itself.

Does anybody have a clue about this issue? Any ideas are appreciate.

Hi,

Can you specify the ios versions and models?

The router has two interfaces depends on whether the block is the same ip address?

C3825-ADVSECURITYK9-M Version 12.4.

Sorry, but what do you mean 'two interfaces depends on whether the block is the same ip address'?
