Need to configure AP 1252 as L2

Hi,

Currently we have a scenario [DHCP server à switch à WCS 2125 à AP 1252 à Laptop]. Currently the Access Point and the Laptop getting Ip from DHCP server now i want to use this AP as a L@ device i mean in layer 2.

Not entirely sure what you are trying to do, but I will take a stab at it. If you do not which to have the AP joined to the WLC and have it operate as a standalone AP, which means it will be a L2 bridge, you will have to convert the AP to autonomous mode.

If you simply want to have your client traffic be bridged direclty by the AP to the wired network and not go back to the WLC, but keep the AP managed by the WLC, you will need to setup H-REAP.
