ASA Failover Problem

Hello,

During Active/Standby Failover set up I came across a problem. I have two ASA 5510 and two CSC-SSM modules. We bought the first pair some time ago and we decided to configure failover. After configuration replication from Active to Standby  - the Standby switched to Failed State. I had no idea what it was going wrong. Istead CLI I tried configuration using Wizard, and I received an info that the compatibility of modules was the issue.

Possibly modules names do not match. Is there a way to change them? Maybe firmware upgrade? Any suggestions?

Regards,

Please request TAC to help you out with this in a case.

I hope it helps.

unfortunatelly client did not buy service contract for new ASA and CSC. Is there a possibility to send TAC request without service contract?

Pls check if the ASA and CSC are still under warranty. Otherwise, you would need to purchase Smartnet contract prior to opening a TAC case.
