hi! I'm new to cisco call manager. I would like to find out what's the ways to configure a broadcast group, and when internal or external user call to this particular number eg. 1234, the ext 1111, 2222 and 3333 within that group will ring at a same time. If no one pick up the call. The call will be diverted to number 8888.

a simple steps by steps instruction will be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi follow the steps like below, you will find these options at Call Routing>Route.Hunt>Line Group/Hunt List/ Hunt Pilot.

1. Create a Line Group with the DNs 1111,2222 and 3333 associated there, select 'Distribution Algorithm=Broadcast'

2. Create a Hunt List with custom name and associate the Line Group here, must select 'Enable this Hunt List'.

3. Create a Hunt Pilot (1234 in your case) and associate the created Hunt List here. Put the DN 8888 at the field 'Forward Hunt No Answer', must select proper CSS at the right.

Never forget to reset the Hunt List before approaching for testing.

HTH.
