Error in CUPC when creating Problem Report: CUERT

I have a user who is having presence problems.  She cannot see anyone's status, and she sees herself as unavailable.  When she first logs in, I can see her status as online, for a least a few minutes, and I can IM her, and she can respond, but she cannot initiate IM's.  But after a few minutes, it seems, I see her as off-line again.  Also, when she tries to generate a problem report, she gets an error that refers to a file named CUERT (I didn't note if it was a .dll or .exe).  Anyone seen anything like this before?

I have this problem too.
