My customer is intended to run FXO instead of PRI for billing purpose. They need 48 Port FXO termination. I fear that VG-248 is intended for FXS termination. Is there any device available to serve this purpose?
By billing I assume you mean cost? You are correct the VG248 will not help you. You would need a high density FXO or DID solution (depending on what you need and how you configure trunks from carrier). Take a look here:
Analog DID requires you to order that particular service from your carrier. I haven't used these interfaces in production (well, not as analog DID anyway). So you may want to research that a little.
