It seems you have problems with your filesystem or you did not download the correct image for the NPE-G2.

Remember, the NPE-G1 and NPE-G2 uses different images. You will find the differences on the filename.

NPE-G2 starts with c7200p while NPE-G1 starts with c7200 (without the p).

Did you download the correct image?

Edison

Hi Edison,

Thank you.

I need to deploy a pair of  7206VXR (NPE-G2). Other router in this pair has correct IOS image as you said with "p"

Router(boot)#sh ver
Cisco IOS Software, 7200 Software (C7200P-KBOOT-M), Version 12.4(4)XD5, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1).

So i assumed that the router with booting issue might have correct IOS image. But i am unable to login to the device to see whether it has correct image or not as it was kept in the spare.

How will download correct image into this router if we assume it's not with right image ?

How will i check if it has problems with file system?

I will need to check both the  issues in a sequence manner. Please guide me on  how can i do it?

Thank you for your guidence.

Vimal

You may have to download a new image to the router by using xmodem.

I also suggest contacting TAC. I believe this problem could be expedited if you have someone working one-on-one with you on the phone.

Regards,

Edison.

Thank you Edison.. I will contact TAC.

Good luck and let us know the outcome from that call.

have you found any solution for the above mentioned issue ?
