In a cluster of 1 call manager publisher and 1 call manager subscriber the publisher goes down. During this downtime the call center agents are unable to login to CAD. What can be the possible reason behind it and how to overcome such situation.

Hi
This is quite a common error - by default the CCM you specify when you set up the cluster is added as the AXL server, and it doesn't prompt you for a secondary.
Go into appadmin, then System/Unifed CM Configuration.
- On that page, ensure that there is at least two AXL servers selected (also in CCMServiceability - http://callmanagerip/ccmservice - that you have activated the AXL service on the servers you select)
- Also ensure that the CM telephony subsystem and RMCM subsystem have at least two servers. Again, in CCMServicebility ensure that the CTIManager service is activated on both the servers you select here.

Hi
Yes, 6.x is an oddity... it works a bit different as it's built for CM4.3 so no AXL, just DCD.
Firstly - the JTAPI and RM screens you grabbed should have two CCMs listed, seperated by commas. As pointed out earlier, both those servers MUST run the CTIManager service.
Secondly - on the LDAP page, you do the same thing - specify the two CCMs, listed seperated by commas. Both will already run DCD.
I think the screen you grabbed for LDAP was System/LDAP? There was also in older versions another place to enter the info under 'Tools'/'User Management'. Do the same thing there is there is a similar field.

Hi
You don't need to go into the Serviceability tool to do this; all the places you need to change are in AppAdmin.
Were you able to find those settings I referenced in AppAdmin?
