Hi all
I have a security system which is power 832 PC5010 to secure classrooms in a university i was asked to
Add option to this security system which is to enable it to send SMS to a cell phone , after searching i knew that this kind of device could enable me to receive a call and remotely support the security system , here is the link of the device :
But this device requires an analog telephone line , and at my work we use the VOIP , so i need to know whether this Cisco device ATA186 will help me to turn the VOIP to Analog and working properly with the mentioned device or not ?

Yes, you can use an ATA to give you an analog port. You could also use one of the newer VG202/204 gateways:

Another option is to use an FXS port on a router if you have one available.
Hope this helps.
