Call Pickup Group do not work for the phones in it.

Hi,

In our Cisco Callmanager 7x, I have created the following:

Hunt Pilot Configuration:

Hunt Pilot: 6610033

Hunt List: Omraadesyd

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hunt List Configuration:

Hunt List: Omraadesyd

Hunt List Member Information: Omraadesyd

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Line Group Information:

Line Group Name: Omraadesyd

RNA Reversion Timeout: 40

Distribution Algorithm: Circular

Selected DN/Route Partition: 4003/PhonesPT

                                           4004/PhonesPT

                                           4005/PhonesPT

                                           4006/PhonesPT

                                           4007/PhonesPT

                                           4008/PhonesPT

                                           4009/PhonesPT

                                           4013/PhonesPT

All above directory numbers have been configurated with "Remstruplund1 in InternPT" in the "Call Pickup Group" configuration

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Call Pickup Group Information:

Call Pickup Group Name:          Remstruplund1

Call Pickup Group Number:       6641054

Current Associated Call Pickup Groups

Selected Call Pickup Groups:     6641054/InternPT

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The strange thing is that if someone makes a call directly to - by example - the phone number 4004, the user at the phone number 4006 can take the call, because they are in the same Call Pickup Group.

But if someone makes a call to 4000 and the phone rings at the phone number 4004 and there only is an user at the 4013 phone number, this user can not take the call on the 4004 phone.

Have I missed anything in the above configuration? How can I make sure that the user at the 4013 phone number can take the call on another phone and do not has to wait before it is the 4013 phone numbers turn in the distribution algoritm?

Kind regards,

Carl-Marius

Hi Carl-Marius,

This setup does not work without the "workaround" shown below. Once you apply this you should be good to go

**Set enterprise parameter (System->Enterprise Parameters->Cisco Support Use 1) Cisco Support Use 1 to CSCsb42763 (case sensitive)

This operation added listbox (Route Plan->Route/Hunt->Hunt Pilot->hunt pilot XXXX -> Call Pickup Group) Call Pickup Group.

From this doc;

http://www.ciscotaccc.com/kaidara-advisor/voice/showcase?case=K11612191

1.- Enter

CSCsb42763 (in mixed case) in the Enterprise Parameter 'Cisco Support

Use 1' under the new group 'Cisco Support use Only' and click update. Only the value

CSCsb42763 in this parameter can enable the configuration. Change the

value to anything else to disable this functionality.

2. Go to Hunt Pilot Configuration page and select a call pickup group from the Call

Pickup Group dropdown list and click update.

CSCsb42763

Call Pickup fails on Hunt List

Issue:

Call pickup fails for hunt list when call is CFA from Route Point in 4.1(2)ES41. This is not the designed functionality for this issue and will break the Call Pickup logic.

Workaround:

Use multiple shared lines & CFNA between each shared line.

Call Pickup from line group member fails after es installed
