snmpwalk on FWSM multi-context

Hi, can somebody drop me the snmpwalk command to get infos from a FWSM context.

My customer tried a lot and does not get info from a context.

to address context admin:

snmpwalk -v2c -c communityi§admin FWSMhostname
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5.1
Timeout: No Response from FWSMhostname

If he addresses the FWSM without context, then it works, so udp161 is open:
snmpwalk -v2c -c communityi FWSMhostname
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5.1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5.1 = Gauge32: 0

Why do you want to put the context name in the snmp-walk command? Each context will have his own IP address space (or at least a unique IP Address), you can just use each context's IP address to run a snmp-walk on it. Please explain your requirement a bit more.

Hi, thanks for your response. We already use IP addresses and it works. My customer wanted to use the hostnames but now agreed to use the IP.

Hello

I'm sure you had this in mind already, but you could add all the FWSM Context IPs with different names in DNS (or the hosts file) and use them (if that fulfills the requirement).
