We are running WCS with twi 4400's
I am attempting to incorporate our wireless network into Solarwinds.
I have enabled SNMP on the controller, created the snmp v2 communities etc. The ip address of Solarwinds as been added as the IP address to receive SNMP packets from. When I attempt to ad the 4400 to Solarwinds it fails the snmp credentials verification.
Am I doing something fundamentally wrong?
Thanks

I have the same setup (4402 and Solarwinds Orion) and it's working. The only difference may be on the controller I didn't specify an address in the community name, I let it 0.0.0.0.

Thanks
I tried taking out the IP address and replaced it with 0.0.0.0 and still have the same issues. I know that WCS is set up to be able to communicate with the controllers user SNMP V3.. So it should work?

That fixed the problem.. I just left out the R/W community
