Hello all,
Could the echo canceller daughter card (EC-MFT-64) be disabled (shutdown) by any IOS command?
The daughter card is seated in 2-Port RJ-48 Multiflex Trunk - T1/E1 card.
The purpose of doing that is to apply the workaound of bug CSCtg92548. The workaound is to remove the daughter card from
voice gateway. I am thinking the better way.....
More info. about the echo canceller daughter card, please see:

If there was a software workaround, cisco would have indicated that.
Your best course of action is to contact the TAC to find exactly how this bug affects you, and define the next course of action.

thanks for your reply.
I don't see any software workaround from the bug (CSCtg92548)details. I am just wondering if I could manually disable the daughter card instead of removing it from the box.....
thanks again.

looks I got the answer:
router(config-voiceport)# echo-cancel enable type software

Once test it I will share with you folks...
