I've run out of room for two IOSes on the puny 64MB CF card that came with our 3845. Couldn't find any info on cisco.com about upgrading flash:/, so I have several larger CF cards lying around and I assume they will work after I put them in the router and reformat them.

Besides the IOS image, which files do I need to save on the new drive? All these tar files are for the HTML interface, I presume, so I don't need them? The config is saved in nvram, which I assume is NOT on the CF card.

A Subquestion: Is it safe to remove the CF card and insert another while the router is running?

I know I could delete the current IOS image on flash:/ and have enough space, but that is living too dangerously.
