Hello!

Is there any way to add a description to command entry like:

mac-address-table static HHH.HHH.HHH vlan 211 interface fastethernet 0/4

?

I mean, when lookuing through config file one could see descriptions of interfaces, access-list namings, policy and class namings..

what about such entries ?

Hi,

Yu can add "!" against any entry you want to add as comment.

e.g.

interface gi0/0

description *** gigabit ehternet****

ip address 10.10.10.10 255.255.255.0

! class A ip address with subnetting
