thanks for taking a look.....

Hookflash for supplimentary services using Application, Service DSAPP is not working...

Have 2 problems:

If I make an outbound call from FXS phone to  PSTN I can get secondary dial tone....

If I receive call from PSTN to FXS phone, I  cannot initiate hookflash to get secondary dial tone.  I hear the cliks and in the debug vpm all trace i cann see the hookflash occuring but as said cannot get secondary dial tone.  Thoughts on problem 1 appreciated.

The other things thats failing is that when an outbound call is made and  hookflash is invoked I can get secondary dial tone, a second call can then be made  but when the calls transfer is attempted to transfer the call either by blind or consult, nothing happens...For some reason a conference appears to  work....

Any ideas as to what is happening greatly appreciated....

thanks in advance...and look forward to hearing from you with any ideas......

  • Cisco Employee,

for any application to run it needs to be triggered inbound. Can you have service dsapp on the voip dialpeer it matches inbound to see if that fixes the issue. else get deb ccsip messages, deb voip ccapi inout, deb vpm signal

Thanks for the reply,

when I enabled Application, DSAPP glagablly i was able to get supplimentary services for call on hold/call retrieval, call waiting and 3 part call conference.

What i can't seem to do however is blind transfer or consult transfer...

I will try and get some time later today and get some debugs for anyone to review..

thanks for takinbg the time to always, appreciated.
