I want to upgrade the IOS from version 12.2(33)SRD2 to 12.2.(33)SR1. I can't find documentation specific for RPS720. I have the idea that the upgrade it's pretty much as an upgrade of a SUP720 in a 6500, but I wanted to check it.

You are correct.  The upgrade procedure that is used for 6500 dual SUP configurations, known as FSU (Fast Software Upgrade), can also be used for the 7600 RSP upgrades.  This procedure is detailed here -

Depending on your RSP configuration, you may also have the option to use the eFSU or ISSU methods detailed here -

Both eFSU and ISSU were first supported in 12.2(33)SRB and can be done with the following cards (a full list can be found in the link above) -

RSP720-3C, RSP720-3CXL, SUP720-3B,  SUP720-3BXL, SUP32
