Dear Networkers,

We have CUCM 7.1.3.32900-4 Cluster installed:One MCS 7816 Publisher + One MCS 7816 Subscriber.

Now we are encoutnring issues with the publisher. In fact, we cannot access the publisher server via Web and SSH. and we do have the following error message on the console: "EXT3-fs error (device sda6) in start_transaction: journal has aborted".

We had to shutdown the server many times, after the reboot the server is back to normal status, it remains just some days and we have this situation again and again !

Can  you please help ? Any advise?

Thanks in advance.

Hi

It's likely to be a problem with your HDD firmware - please see and rate this post : https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3043977#3043977

As suggested, I would either download the latest Firmware maintenance CD for your model of server, or check with TAC if you want to be double sure...

Hello,

I had that issue in the past. Likely this bug: CSCta73022.

Details: http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCta73022

Like Aaron said, you must download latest software and upgrade your servers. Once the cluster is upgraded, issues disappear.

Hope to help, please rate if it does.

Kind regards,

- Adrian.
