I have the RCC working between OCS and CME 8.0. I am able to call 91xxxxxxxxxx by typing in the search window of the OC client, the Cisco phone goes off hook and dials the number.
The problem is when I try to call a contact in the outlook the phone goes off hook but it does not dial. The number is in the following format 1 (xxx) xxx-xxxx or 1xxxxxxxxxx. I tried to use the normalization rule to remove the + and add a 9 but its not working.
I have the following rule in the Company_Phone_Number_Normalization_Rules.txt
\+?^(\d*)$
9$1
Can some one please guide me how to resolve the issue.
Thanks,
Solomon

Wow... RCC with CME? No CUPS required? That was cool!
Would you be able to share the link of configuration guide?
Many thanks!

CUPS is no longer needed for RCC with CME or with CUCM.
Here is the link for CME. At the bottom of this artical you will find an example of CME config.
