OSPF Routing Protocol

To configure ospf routing protocol, it requires at least how many routers? 2 or 3 routers? Can provide me the sample configuration file?

Hi Swee,

If you wanna see routes showing up, a minimum of two routers are required.

Connect two routers back to back and add some loopback interfaces to both the routers to simulate different networks and copy paste the below 3 lines on both of them

enable

config t

router ospf 1

network 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 area 0

end

Would recommend you to get a CCNA book and start looking into it for simpler explanations if you are new to ospf.

Hi Swee

OSPF is not having any limitation of router but atleast you need 2 router. This protocol is ment for small & Large or very large network.

And also having all those feature that req for an large network.
