Mac clients unable to connect to WPA2 hidden wireless SSID

Unanswered Question

I have a secure wireless network with hidden SSID and WPA2 key authentication. Windows client machines are able to connect to this wireless but non of the Mac client devices (majority of them consist of MacBook Pro laptops with OS v10.6.3) are unable to connect to this wireless.

The access-points are autonomous and their logs show

%DOT11-6-ASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio1, Station   58b0.3586.415c Associated KEY_MGMT[WPAv2 PSK]

but they are not associated.

If I change from WPA2 to WPA the Mac clients are able to connect to the wireless.

Can't figure out why it is not working with WPA2. The customer requires WPA2 authentication.

Thanks in advance.

I have this problem too.
